God of War - Chains of Olympus

I can't wait to play this game on my PSP!

I finished God of War 1, half way through God of War 2.

In my opinion, this is the one, single seamless game that every console gamer should experience, because it sets a benchmark on what programming excellence should be. Beyond that, it has incredible story-telling and intuitive controls. On the PS2, I don't even think about the controls, it comes so natural. I believe the same would be done for the PSP.

Imagine playing God of War on the MRT... You might just grab the sleeping uncle next to you out of frustration or joy that you killed the Leviathan!

So you think you can chase a Donkey??? We need you!!!

Hi peeps! We have a situation... this is what happened...

"Farmer John Doe is in trouble and needs your help! Farmer Doe lives in the Kingdom of "DO", and he is King Dominic's stable-master. This morning, he has found that the King's favorite donkey has gone missing! We don't have much time left before the King's dinner! Help Farmer Doe find back the King's Donkey throughout the city or lose a fortune locating 15 valuable items with the letters "D" and "O" to present to the King in restitution!"

We gotta help my friend, lest his head roll!

So in all good faith, we have organised an Island-wide Donkey Search! (More heads are better than one! .... No, I don't mean more heads to be chopped by the King for losing his precious Donkey!)

Details;

Date: 23rd September 2007

Time: Dawn to Dusk (1.00 pm to 6.00pm)

Location: Island Wide

We gotta find the Donkey before the King's dinner, if not, Farmer Doe will be dinner, and we may need to find condiments to go with him....Yew, gross!

So Let's find that Donkey!

Anyone feels qualified or up to the task of being a "Donkey Chaser", do drop me a mail at howard.kuay@gmail.com or tag me on the Cbox on the right!

On behalf of Farmer Doe, thank you for your head....no no .. we mean your eyes!

My Favorite song. For all you people out there...

Who's feeling down and out....Change is the only constant in life.

Things come and go...

People come and go... life seems so rocky on the waves of life...

But one thing we must anchor on, that is the unchanging rock, the only constant one...

I can only sing how great He is....

Reminiscence #3
Reminiscence #2
Reminiscence #1

"Listen to the auntie in the background nearing the end of the video..."

Today marks the last lesson of the School of Theology 2007. It comes with mix feelings. On one hand, I'm happy that we are ready to progress into the marketplace to do great things for God, to serve Him with all our hearts with all that we have acquired, mentally, physically and spiritually.

On the other hand (this being the bigger hand), I'm really sad that it has to end. Beyond all the lectures and practical, its the Praise and Worship every morning; the tangible presence of God; the daily sessions with lecturers that we can look up to; the rushed breaks and fellowship that I will really miss.

It was short yet it throughly impacted and changed my life.

Imagine, everyday, making a renewed commitment to God, to life, to each other. How not to cry and hope for the best for your fellow brothers and sisters?

I can only imagine great things for all the graduates, especially all those from north east Asia, Taiwan, India, Malaysia, Brunei, Sri Lanka....

I will think of you and pray for you everyday.

While writing this post, the song below came to mind. The lyrics don't really fit what i'm trying to convey, but the emotions does.

It's one of longing for reunion, one of controlled sadness and belief that one day, somewhere out there in the mission field, we will meet again.

We will meet again, in the storm, or back at the harbor!

We will meet again....

Dear readers (if there are still any...aw..you loyal lot),
looking at the date, I have been kidnapped somewhere from the blogosphere for a really look time. I have cleaned out the cob-webs but there are still much to do. I know some of you might be thinking where I have been all this time, and I shall attempt to shed light within one sentence...

"I'm now sitting in the central library of the National University of Singapore, justifying my notes that I had done in Bible school, thinking where I can get the letter to defer my re-service from the Singapore Police Force, while talking to someone I had arrested over the phone while I was attending 999 calls, trying to invite her to an event that my social work group friends have organised and looking out the window to the sun shining and birds opening their mouths to silent chirps."

Yes.
